What Is A Printed Circuit Board?

A printed circuit board (PCB) is a thin board constructed from insulating material covered with a metal coated surface, at times on both sides. Etches are formed in the metal using acid in order to produce paths along which electricity can flow to different components on the board surface mounted with solder.
